Knight Tails is a professional pet care business set up and owned by Hannah Knight based on her love for dogs and all animals.

We provide day care exclusively for small dogs with a convenient pick up and drop off service for pet owners in Galway and Connemara areas. We also provide an overnight service for day care clients. At Knight Tails we are experienced and insured, and we ensure our dogs are safe and happy while providing a reliable and friendly service for those who have a busy and demanding lifestyle. Whether you wish to use our services while you are at work on a daily basis or just as a fun day out for your little pooch, then we can accommodate your needs. We will give you complete peace of mind that your dog is being well cared for, is exercised, educated and socially interacting.

At home we allow our dogs to lap up luxury with clean comfy bedding, toys, and healthy treats. Whether just for the day or an overnight stay we will always send your dog home clean in its very own chauffeur using our collection & drop off service for added convenience. Your pooch will enjoy walks on beach, parks and woods relaxing afterwards in a shaded spot in summer or by a fire in the winter.

For everyone’s health and safety we insist that all dogs must be up to date with vaccinations including kennel cough and dogs over 6 months must be neutered. All dogs will be met and assessed prior to booking and day care groups will be based on temperament and size so every dog can enjoy their time with Knight Tails.

Hannah has lived with dogs and cats and numerous other animals throughout her life, but it was when she wanted her own puppy in adulthood while working full time that she realised that there were limited services available. Hannah needed to know that her beloved dog was being cared for while she was at work or when she had to travel.

Stemmed from this was her aim to provide a safe, secure and reliable service available all year round to ensure the best possible care for your pet. For when you are either at work, on holiday, sick or just find yourself unavailable to provide them with the exercise & care that they need daily.

Hannah Is originally from Yorkshire, England but has been visiting Connemara since she was a child. Hannah was working in London in the Fashion industry for 8 years before traveling to Central and South America where she volunteered in Animal Rescue centres before moving to Dublin in 2016 to be closer to her family. Enjoying Ireland so much it still felt that Connemara was calling so in 2018 it was time to move west and set up Knight Tails. Working in fast paced environments with long hours and periods of travel Hannah understands the need to feel confident that your pet is safe and happy, to be treated professionally and to receive excellent customer service. What better place for your dog to run, play and socialise than the beautiful Connemara!
